In 2025 Bradford will hold the title of City of Culture. We’re hoping it will also be a City of Breastfeeding! Starting with singing workshops at Womenzone, we will be putting together a programme of events to celebrate the diversity of breastfeeding traditions in Bradford, looking at how we can bring breastfeeding back for everyone. Watch this space for a growing programme of live events, innovative interventions and a long-term legacy for the whole City in 2025.

Singing for Wellbeing
Live singing workshops for mental wellbeing with professionally trained and qualified Singing Mamas lead, Josie Ludford. Ten weekly free sessions at WomenZone, Bradford.

Motherstalk
Motherstalk brought together mothers with service providers and past participants to talk about their mothering journeys, breastfeeding provision in Bradford and the ways an art project can bypass and improve mothers experiences within the city.

Exhibition at Kala Sangam
An exhibition of portraits from the Coventry, Cheshire & Merseyside and Brighton projects took place at Kala Sangam Arts Centre for three months as part of a tour that also included breastfeeding storytelling workshops.
