A lot of birth and those early postpartum days are a blur

I had a lot of guilt and shame that I’ve had to work through

I was really determined to breastfeed. I just knew I’d power through it no matter what

I thought this was an amazing way to bond with him, even at age two

I felt like I was being made to choose between how I feed my child and my job

I wholeheartedly appreciate what my body went through

I’ve breastfed all of mine and I’ve had really different experiences
